About Giulia Lucconi

I’m an Italian Specialist in Medical Physics graduated at the University of Bologna (Italy). The post-graduate School I attended is a full-time 4-years training in Imaging, Radiology, Computed Tomography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology. Beside the clinical practice, research played an important role in this training program and I indeed developed several research projects, whose results have been published in scientific journals and presented in national and international congresses. I worked successfully with physicists, physicians, chemists, engineers and technicians acquiring skills and experiences in a broad range of activities. I completed all the expected clinical and research assignments with excellent results, being my contribution always appreciated. I developed my own research projects, including but not limited to, current modulation systems for dose reduction in CT, Functional MRI and fibertracking, production of non-standard radionuclides and cyclotron production of 99mTc. Some of them have also been translated into clinical practice. I’m currently working in Switzerland in the radiation oncology domain.
