About Giulia Lunati

I am a pulmonologist with a strong interest in ILDs, complemented by a comprehensive, patient‑centered approach across the full spectrum of respiratory medicine. I completed my residency at Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli in Rome, where I rotated through diverse clinical settings (ordinary wards, sub‑intensive care, specialized outpatient clinics, hospital consult services, and interventional pulmonology service) acquiring deep, hands‑on expertise in acute and chronic respiratory care. My training was further enriched by experiences in other regional hospitals, focusing on general pulmonology and respiratory rehabilitation. I also completed an observership at the French National Reference Center for Rare Pulmonary Diseases in Lyon, expanding my insight into rare and complex respiratory disorders within a highly specialized and stimulating context. I have consistently participated in multidisciplinary teams for the diagnosis and management of ILDs, to Additionally, I have been actively involved in several randomized controlled trials (RCTs) as a sub‑investigator, contributing to the advancement of evidence‑based respiratory medicine. Currently, I work as a general pulmonologist within an internal medicin unit with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach, managing a wide range of acute and chronic respiratory diseases, including asthma, COPD, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS), and more. My daily practice is driven by a commitment to high-quality care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous medical learning.
