About Giulia Manni

Austrian and Italian national, former UNDESA Junior Professional Officer (JPO) funded by the Government of Italy at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), I am a dedicated humanitarian professional with over 8 years of experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and reporting. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Rome La Sapienza, along with a Master's degree in International and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna. Additionally, I have completed a post-graduate master's programme in International Cooperation (Development-Emergencies) at the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), and specialization courses on International Migration Law, Climate Change and Forced Displacement from the Sanremo International Institute of Humanitarian Law, Data Analysis for Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Project Management from the George Washington University. With fluency in Italian and German, and proficiency in English and French, I have garnered extensive experience working across diverse contexts in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Iraq, Israel, Mauritania, Nigeria, Ukraine and Yemen. Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy exploring cuisines and refining my culinary skills. I also find balance and focus through the practice of Jivamukti and Ashtanga yoga.
