About Giulia Marangoni

I am Giulia da Silva Marangoni, a biologist with a vast passion for biotechnology and scientific innovation. My education began with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Anhembi Morumbi University, and I am now specializing in Biotechnology at the Federal University of São Paulo. Throughout my journey, I have developed solid skills in molecular biology techniques, such as DNA extraction and PCR, as well as mastering bioinformatics and programming tools (R and Python) for biological data analysis. I had the opportunity to work at the Zoology Museum of USP, where I was involved in cataloging and digitizing entomological collections, and at the Institute of Biosciences at USP, in a scientific initiation project focused on ecological diversity and genetic identification of coastal meiofauna. I also contribute to science communication as a scriptwriter and creator of accessible content for the podcast "Ciência à Deriva." My academic experiences include presenting work at international events, such as the XV International Symposium on Flatworm Biology, and authoring a book chapter (currently under review), which has allowed me to develop effective scientific communication. Additionally, I am fluent in English, have basic knowledge of Italian, and am prepared to collaborate on global projects. My goal is to integrate into a team in biotechnology or laboratory areas, where I can apply my technical and scientific expertise to create innovative solutions and contribute to the evolution of biosciences.
