About Giulia Redigolo

I am Associate Professor of Accounting at ESADE Business School. Before joining ESADE, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Emory University (USA) and the University of Padua (Italy). I earned my Doctorate with an Accounting concentration at the University of Padua (joint PhD program) in 2015. During the PhD, I spent one year and a half as Research PhD Scholar at Georgia State University and, later on, at Emory University. In 2015 and 2016, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University in the City of New York. My research area is financial archival with an emphasis on firms’ disclosure. I am interested in the mechanisms that underpin firms’ voluntary disclosure decisions, and the implications for accounting information users and capital markets. I teach "Financial Accounting","Financial Statement Analysis and Valuation" and "Financial Analysis" at the undergraduate and graduate level.
