About Giulia Tieni

Versatile, analytical and able to adapt to different environments, with predisposition and curiosity in understanding different cultures. High responsibility levels with affirmed competences in representation, coordination, management, supervision and monitoring. High capacity in problem solving and team building. I have worked in different cultural contexts (Latin America and Africa), in different sectors (Humanitarian Aid, Sustainable Development, Social Inclusion and Disaster Risk Reduction), and covering different positions as coordination assistant, project manager, till country coordinator, assuming responsibilities both at administrative and management level (monitoring and implementation of project budgets, base sustainability, activities implementation, human resources management, representation of the organization with international counterparts and donors, amongst others). I have also developed good skills in writing, monitoring and evaluating project proposals (both narrative and financial ones) for different donors as ECHO, USAID (different formats as OFDA, FFP and DIV), DFID, Italian Agency for Development (AICS), Spanish Agency for Cooperation (AECID), including formats of Spanish decentralized cooperation system (AACID, AEXCID, ELANKIDETZA and ACCD).
