About Giulia Zanichelli

I have a degree from the Catholic University of Milan in Modern Literature with a focus in Medieval Art History (2005) and a Business Master at Sole 24 ORE in Marketing and Communication (2009). I have more than 20 years of experience in the world of communication, particularly in the areas of culture and publishing. With GZ Comunicazione I follow as communication strategy and press office several projects related to the world of art, photography and literature. From 2003 to the present, I have been continuously involved in press office and media relations activities with leading Italian publishers and producers of major art, photography, archaeology and architecture exhibitions such as Federico Motta Editore then 24 ORE Cultura - Gruppo 24 ORE; Sperling & Kupfer - Gruppo Mondadori; Electa Mondadori and I have collaborated with institutions and companies on specific projects, in the world of culture and sports. During these years I worked on the exhibitions and with these photographers and artists: Marina Abramovic, Aurelio Amendola, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Gabriele Basilico, Tony Ousler, Franko B, Zhang Huan, Stephan Balkenhol, Gian Paolo Barbieri, Giosetta Fioroni, Jan Saudek, Joel Peter Witkin; Mario Cresci, John Lassater. From 2013 to 2016 I was part of the Expo Milano 2015 team, in the Communication, Marketing and Events staff and I followed, during the six months of the event, as event manager the planning of big institutional events and their onsite and online communication. From 2019 to 2023, with GZ Comunicazione I coordinated all marketing and promotion activities for the exhibitions produced by Electa, collaborating with, among others, Parco Archeologico del Colosseo; Museo Nazionale Romano; Museo Nazionale Archeologico Napoli; Complesso della Pilotta in Parma; Mantova Municipality; Palazzo Reale in Milan, and the Valle D'Aosta Region. From April 2022 to January 2024, I collaborated with the VIVE Institute - Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia in Rome (Ministry of Culture), developing the Institute's communication and promotion plan, coordinating all press office and content production activities, as well as media plans and digital communication activities. Since 2020, I have been a Faculty Lecturer of the Master in Art and Culture Management and the Master in Sport at the RCS Academy Business School in Milan, where I give lectures related to communication plans and press office.
