About Giuliana Bonello

My expertise covers the domains of Innovation strategies and Digital transformation for public administration. I had the opportunity to develop deep competences in different management rules, ranging from data management to marketing, from accounting to compliance, from managing development teams to service teams. I am a senior expert of Data Science for Government (business intelligence, information management, open and big data, data storytelling) and Smart Cities. I am currently University lecturer on Data Science Information Management, Data governance, Data quality, Business Intelligence, Open Data and Data Visualization. Currently for COREP First Level Master Degree on Data Science (ADABI master), previously for Politecnico di Torino, Università di Torino, Università Bicocca di Milano, Istituto Europeo di Design, Università Tor Vergata di Roma. I am currently participating in the Scientific Committee of COREP First Level Master Degree on Data Science. Until November 2024 I was in charge of a team committed to develop and maintain IT solutions for healthcare and welfare of local public administration in CSI Piemonte. In CSI Piemonte since 2019 to 2022 I was responsible of the department for development and management of IT solutions services related to accounting, procurement and electronic payments. In 2018 I was in charge of Internal audit and System Management Certification Team. I was responsible for BI/DWH projects since 1996 and for BICC (Business Intelligence Competency Center) since I developed a significant expertise in information systems and innovation processes and I was responsible for strategies and relationships with the Municipality of Turin. My technical skills are in the following domains: Open and Big Data, Data visualization and storytelling, BI and DWH, Semantic search, Project Management, Procurement, Management Control, HRM, Health Information Systems. I represented CSI Piemonte as a partner of Piemonte Visual Contest Initiative. I participated as scientific expert in the SDA Bocconi BI Observatory, 2007 - 2009.
