About Giuseppe Contissa
Giuseppe Contissa is associate professor of Legal Informatics and Digital Law at the University of Bologna, Department of Legal Studies. He has been a Max Weber fellow and a research associate at the European University Institute (EUI), Florence, resident fellow at the Stanford Center for Computers and the Law (CodeX), at Stanford University, and professor in Legal Informatics and in Legal Theory at LUISS University – Rome. His research interests include artificial intelligence and law, computable models of legal reasoning and knowledge, legal theory, legislative drafting, legal and ethical issues of artificial intelligence and robotics, liability and automation in socio-technical systems. He has published widely on these topics and has worked in several national and European projects, while also speaking at national and international conferences.
