About Giuseppe Ruscigno

Curious by nature, always looking for learning opportunities, I am part of Luxottica Group, the worldwide leading company in the eyewear industry, symbol of “Made in Italy” and champion of real innovation culture. I am the Logistics Operations Manager at Sedico Distribution Center, the core of the whole company logistics network. I gained my own professional experience in the Operations & Logistics universe attracted by the complex, challenging interactions which are generated within it. At first, my professional path took place within Comifar Group, a leading company in the pharmaceutical distribution industry, starting as an Intern and ending up as Warehouse and Logistics Manager. In the most recent part, I stepped into Luxottica experiencing a learning and challenging period related to the Go Live of the brand new, innovative logistics hub. That experience helped me to further increase my skill set and to gaining the opportunity to lead whole Logistics Operations. I apply enthusiasm and proactive approach into my daily work with the aim to improve myself and make my contribution in the value creation cycle of the company. I enjoy working with and for people. I am strongly committed in trying to answer questions and to propose solutions about every day challenges and needs of my working group. That's why I never use the classic and overworked phrase "It is not my business". I love basketball and I love writing (I am a freelance journalist). Right now, I am a swimmer enrolled in the “Master Circuit” with poor competitive results but with great personal satisfaction.
