Process engineering has a significant role in many industries. This field of study focuses on producing high value products from various raw material and at the same time ensure cost, quality and delay. It has a leading part in the biggest advances of our society and allows us to exploit our natural ressources and overcome technical limits to serve our needs and build our future. From the design to the creation of better and safer methods of production, my objective is to orient my professional life towards process development within the chemical industry. The objective of production is reliability. Our aim is to optimise the performance of manufacturing systems by identifying and developing new processes for product manufacture. Furthermore, the equipment must be implemented with process controls to make sure the products are of a high quality and are manufactured in a reproducible manner. The target is to maximize quality, safety and profitability and minimize costs. The world we live in is constantly changing, regulations are getting stricter and it is of our duty to propose innovative solutions in order to respond to our clients’ needs. A major aspect is to always keep in mind quality, safety and environmental regulations and resource conservation.
