With over 10 years of experience in the human rights and governance sector, I am a highly motivated, resilient, and passionate policy and advocacy professional. My expertise lies in addressing demographic challenges, policy gaps, and system failures through effective advocacy that connects people to policies. Guided by Catholic Social teachings, I value excellence, passion, integrity, and collaboration in my work. As a tri-sector expert, I collaborate with donor organizations, government, private sector, academia, and non-state actors in Kenya, Africa, and across the world. My niche areas are - responsible natural resource exploitation, public finance management, justice and peace, child protection, and gender and women's rights programming. Specializing in justice and peace building, I address conflicts and promote peace in different contexts through mediation, dialogue facilitation, and other conflict resolution processes. In natural resource governance, I advocate for policies and practices that prioritize environmental conservation, accountability, and transparency in natural resource management, and the interests of host and affected communities. As an advocate and lobbyist, I engage with policymakers and other stakeholders to influence public policy in different areas. In the area of women's empowerment, I promote gender equality and support women's leadership. Additionally, I have extensive experience in human rights and child protection. I work to promote and protect human rights through advocacy and capacity building, and I have participated in various forums that aim to advance human rights at national and international levels. In terms of child protection, I am committed to ensuring that children's rights are upheld and protected by advocating for policies and programs that prioritize child welfare and protection. My work is grounded in the belief that sustainable development and social justice are only possible when everyone is treated with dignity and respect, and have their rights protected. With my practical experience and dedication to continuous learning and development, I am a Governance, Peace Building, and Public Policy Advocacy professional ready to make a positive impact.
