About Gladys Rosas

I am a Senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago- College of Business Administration with a major in Management and a concentration in Human Resources; expecting to graduate in May 2020. I started my journey at Olive Harvey College, where I received recognition on the Presidential Scholar's List and Dean's List for maintaining a GPA above 3.5. After receiving an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, I decided to pursue a bachelor's degree at UIC because it is ranked in the top 100 for Business programs. Strengths of mine include flexibility, communicating, and being persistent. My work ethic has allowed me to work well in group settings and adapt to changing environments. Being confident in making tough choices has enhanced my ability in decision making. On the other hand, I am constantly looking for ways to strengthen my time management and technical skills. So far, balancing school and work has been helping me improve that aspect. I am bilingual, being fluent in Spanish and English has been beneficial in both my education and work experience. It has enabled me to provide better service, and know it will continue to help me to succeed in the future. Upon earning my Bachelor's degree, I am seeking to gain an internship in an industry where I can assist in achieving a sustainable business growth, and a positive operating culture while utilizing my strong communication skills.
