About Glen Azzopardi

Hi I'm Glen Azzopardi a director at Somom, an accounting tech consultancy firm and I love what I do. That might not be what you expect to hear from an accountant as more often than not I get asked -"Why would anyone want to be an accountant?"​ and to be honest I understand their point as they've only dealt with traditional accountants. Thankfully I'm not a traditional accountant, I love getting to know my clients, what makes them (and their business tick), and zealously automate their finances to helping them to grow their businesses. Most business owners know their business inside and out but aren't accountants. I help them to understand and track the key numbers and metrics in their business, again (you guessed it!) helping them achieve their goals. I get up every morning to do 3 very specific things: first to positively impact the lives of our team. Second to work with them to inspire our clients to do extraordinary things in their businesses and thirdly to blend all of that so that we make a difference right here in our community and in our world.
