About Glen Humphries

In 30 years of journalism translates into talking to thousands of people so I can write thousands of stories. So I’ve talked to actor Will Smith about playing Muhammad Ali in the film Ali, comedian Wil Anderson about whether he borrows his girlfriend’s nail polish (he does) and two members of KISS about their respective solo albums. I’ve talked to authors Tom Keneally, Peter FitzSimons, Di Morrissey, Bill Bryson, John Birmingham, George Pelecanos, Peter Corris and Wayne Bennett (who was nowhere near as scary as I expected). I’ve talked to the NSW Treasurer about selling the Port Kembla port, the NSW Premier about building a new highway and the acting Prime Minister about whether we might one day swap over to driving on the right-hand side of the road (no, we won’t ever be doing that). And chatted with a few Prime Ministers here and there. When I'm not doing that, I'm writing books - 17 at last count. Largely about the holy trinity of beer, music and sport.
