With over 13 years of dedicated experience in Occupational Health and Safety at BC Hydro, I’m passionate about protecting people, preventing incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture in one of Canada’s most critical infrastructure environments. My role has allowed me to contribute to the safety and well-being of employees and contractors across a wide range of operations, from field work to office environments and major capital projects. At BC Hydro, I’ve helped developed and implemented safety programs, conducted risk assessments, contributes to incident investigations, and supported compliance with WorkSafeBC Regulation and internal safety standards. I’m a firm believer that safety isn’t just about compliance—it’s about leadership, accountability, and building trust at every level of an organization. Whether collaborating with engineers, field crews, or executive leadership, I bring a proactive, solution-focused approach to identifying hazards, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement. I’m proud to play a part in building a safer and more resilient organization, and I’m always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the advancement of occupational health and safety practices.
