For more than 22 years, I dedicated my career to growing with IKEA in various positions instilling a solid background in sales and logistics management, operations and scheduling. In a leadership role for the past 15 years, I enjoy acting as a mentor and a coach to secure a consistently profitable retail environment. I was an integral part of business plan development and budgeting for IKEA. Most recently, I served as Logistics Manager at IKEA Centennial – the first store in Colorado, USA. Here I would secure that retail logistics integrates the supply process into the retail business ensuring an efficient logistic operation in our store. The Centennial store houses the largest in-store warehouse with more than Managing the massive flow of goods was critical to the store’s success. Previously, I worked as Retail Supply Integration Manager for IKEA Canada Service Office. I would ensure the regional forecast was inline with global forecasts. I kept close contact with the regional supply team to ensure availability for customers. I was the matrix responsible for sales and supply support teams in the IKEA Canada stores. Additionally, I was inventory responsible for IKEA Canada and Capacity Planner for IKEA Canada. I played an integral part in developing new IKEA stores, store remodels including allocation of space in the stores, and creation of a short, mid- and long-term capacity plans for IKEA Canada. I also spent two years as Sales Manager of IKEA Edmonton, giving me a crucial view of the relationship between sales and logistics. Sincerely Glen Phillips
