Glen is a forensic accountant with more than 35 years of regulatory experience in senior executive roles at Australia’s corporate regulator (“ASIC”) and specialist forensic advisory firms. He has a specialisation in regulatory issues in the financial services sector. Glen has been responsible for the negotiation and imposition of monitoring orders on corporations and individuals. He has also been appointed by Australian and foreign regulators as an independent expert to monitor compliance with regulator-imposed licence conditions in relation to several global financial institutions. Given his unique regulatory perspective, Glen is able to provide clients with strategic, yet practical advice in effectively responding to regulatory investigations and actions. Glen also assists clients in mitigating regulatory, reputational and financial risks by drawing on his extensive experience in assessing, enhancing and monitoring frameworks for the purposes of governance, risk management and compliance. Glen has investigated and litigated some of Australia’s most high profile cases. He is a noted expert in assisting clients to investigate allegations of accounting manipulation, fraud and corruption, conflicts of interest, market misconduct and other regulatory breaches involving breakdowns in risk management and governance frameworks.
