About Glen Winney

Glen Winney’s professional career commenced in Hervey Bay as an apprentice carpenter in 1981. Since then he has worked on commercial constructions in Melbourne as well as several years as an Insurance Consultant and Qualified Financial Planner. Glen commenced work in the real estate industry in 1990 where he specialised in new land subdivisions and unit sales & later moved to investment sales. After this Glen joined local construction firm S&S Rhind as General Manager and Project Manager for 7 years. During this period Glen oversaw the construction of many commercial developments whilst also setting up investment syndicates, starting a long association with the development industry. In Glen and his wife Sharyn set up Century 21 Project Marketing QLD. This was the first specialist commercial real estate office in Hervey Bay and subsequently became the place to go for commercial property needs. Glen became a Centurion twice whilst with Century 21. Centurion is their highest honour, and only awarded to the top 2% of Century 21 salespeople in the world. Glen sold C21 to pursue his love of commercial property development. Under Seashift Properties Pty Ltd they went on to buy & sell millions of dollars in commercial properties as well setting up an ASIC approved wholesale property trust. Glen purchased Rhind Constructions in 2008 which has recently been rebranded to Win Constructions Queensland, which has grown to a well known & respected commercial building firm in the Fraser Coast over the last 15 years. In February 2010 Glen joined the international Knight Frank group as managing director of Knight Frank Fraser Coast and was the principal for 5 years till Dec 2014. Glen is now running his real estate arm under Win Projects which is the number one project marketing company in Hervey Bay marketing many of the key land estates such as The Springs, Ocean Blue, Kingfisher Gardens, Indigo Blue, Bimbadeen and others. He was President of UDIA Fraser Coast for several years and an accredited member of REIQ, Graduate Member of Company Directors of Australia, Member QMBA and was on the Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce to mention but a few of his business & community interests. Since July 2019 Glen has taken over as president of Fraser Coast Property Industry, which is the peak group on the Fraser Coast for the development & property industry.
