As the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Office of Financial Management for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) I oversee and direct central accounting and financial reporting for the 27 NIH Institutes and Centers. I am honored to serve this great organization with such an important scientific mission making discoveries that improve health and save lives. Prior to leading NIH OFM, I served as the Director for NIH's Office of Management Assessment directing NIH Policy, Risk Management, and Program Integrity. I also served as the Associate Director for Management and Executive Officer for the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
