About Glenn Collins

I joined the IRS in March of 1986 as an Accounting Tech. In 1989 I was selected as a Customer Service Representative. In 1996 I accepted a lateral position to Financial Assistant. I assisted Financial Analysts and ran the Travel Reimbursement Accounting System program. In I completed my BS in Accounting, and was promoted to Revenue Agent. I was assigned to Tax Exempt and Government Entities (TEGE). and worked within Exempt Organizations as a Determination Specialist. My general duties were reviewing and processing tax-exemption applications, and related programs. I retired in Feb 2019. Eventually, I went back to work as a Seasonal Employee with the City of Cincinnati. The following year I was unemployed and began the process of becoming certified as a peer supporter. I was hired by my current employer and reported to work October 22, 2022, Since then I've been setting up and honing the Adult Residential Care Peer Support Program I also secured my certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor's Assistance (Preliminary). I utilize all available resources to secure a solid technical and real-life application of serving as a peer supporter.
