Leadership experiences include Director to Executive level oversight within a variety of service areas including, but not limited to, critical care, emergency departments, acute care nursing department, and multiple other Interprofessional departments. Through my tenure as an experienced executive and clinical nurse specialist, I have brought some of the below outcomes to the organizations that I have been employed: 1. Increased ER patient experience by 10 percentile points within 4 months through ER front end process improvement. Improved HCAHPS survey over 90th percentile regarding education on medication side effects through the use of a tool that was created by bedside nurses participating in shared governance. Facilitated Chest Pain Accreditation and subsequent reaccreditation from Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care. Facilitated process improvement changes within perioperative and intraoperative setting that decreased Surgical Site infections to zero month over month. Improved Employee satisfaction from 74th percentile to 96th for multiple years in a row while executive. Improved overall physician satisfaction to over 90th percentile within two years. Decreased monthly Observation Days by 45% through process changes that led to an increase in $2.5 million in revenue and decreased monthly operating budget by per month 8. Decreased Left Before Treatment rate from 8% to 2% increasing revenue over $2 million annually. Oversight of opening two freestanding emergency rooms that increased overall ER volume by visits the first year and increased outpatient radiology capacity, ultimately giving rise to over a $4 million revenue increase over first 18 months.
