Background

About Glenn Devitt

Glenn Devitt is a decorated U.S. Army veteran with 11 years of service, specializing in Infantry, Human Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Open Source Intelligence, and Digital Forensics. During his military career, Glenn deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, earning two Bronze Star Medals for his outstanding service and leadership in multiple Joint Task Forces. Following his military career, Glenn joined the H.E.R.O.(Human Exploitation Rescue Operative) Program, a Homeland Security initiative designed to equip special operations veterans with the skills needed to combat child exploitation and human trafficking. His work in this program led him to establish The Sentinel Foundation in 2017, an organization that brought together experts from Special Operations, intelligence agencies, and law enforcement to carry out undercover operations against human traffickers. Under Glenn’s leadership, The Sentinel Foundation conducted over 45 operations in 16+ countries, combating human trafficking. In 2020, during the pandemic, Glenn paused his undercover work to assume the role of Chief Technology Officer at Stop Soldier Suicide. There, he developed the Blackbox Project, which uses digital forensics and machine learning to identify patterns in the behavior of veterans who have died by suicide. The goal of the project is to predict and prevent future suicides among veterans, an innovative approach that has earned a $3 million grant from the VA. In June 2024, Glenn transitioned from his role as CEO of The Sentinel Foundation to focus on his new company, Digital Legacy, where he serves as CEO and Founder. Digital Legacy is a groundbreaking venture that secures and manages digital legacies using advanced technology, for which Glenn was issued a patent. His work in this field complements his deep expertise in data analysis and digital forensics. Glenn is also the co-founder of Alcohol Armor, a scientifically formulated beverage designed to prevent hangovers by supporting the body’s ability to metabolize alcohol more efficiently. Throughout his career, Glenn has been an instructor at elite training programs such as BlackHat and has earned international recognition for his humanitarian work, including features on BBC for his undercover child rescue operations. With two issued patents and a passion for leveraging technology to make a difference, Glenn continues to advocate for both veterans and children in need, pushing the boundaries of innovation in the tech and humanitarian sectors.
