About Glenn Doherty

I joined Carpetright 25 years ago to manage a small fitting warehouse as part of a newly opened stores team. At the time I had very little experience of sales or management but over the course of my career within the company I was promoted as far as Cluster Manager, with responsibilities to support the managers of up to 20 stores. I enjoy leading teams to success in all aspects of management but in particular in achieving year on year positive turnover results, high KPI scores and solid audit performances. I see it as my duty to help my teams grow and what gives me most pleasure is training colleagues to a level where they are then ready to be promoted to a new challenge or take over a store in their own right. After 25 years in retail I have taken on a new challenge. Wren Kitchens and Bedrooms will soon be opening their first store in Northern Ireland and I'm proud to say I will be a part of the journey. I can't wait to going.
