About Glenn Howell

I build and scale businesses, with a focus on strategy, operations and execution in complex environments.I was Uber’s first hire on the African continent, working on market launches and expansion. The role involved adapting a global operating model to local realities, making market entry decisions, and building structures able to scale in fast-moving and uncertain conditions.I am now Director of Operations at Arcfyre International, a global leader in protective, risk consulting and journey management services across more than 60 countries. Arcfyre delivers bespoke security, risk advising and journey management solutions supported by a 24/7 Global Security Operations Centre, serving multinationals, non-governmental organisations and high-net-worth clients in emerging and complex markets.Across the group my work centres on setting direction, building systems, enhancing operational resilience, and translating strategy into execution. I focus on organisational structure, incentives and decision-making under pressure.I have founded and led several businesses and am completing an Executive MBA to deepen my strategic and financial capabilities. My experience sits at the intersection of strategy, execution and operational complexity
