About Glenn Laufer

For nearly the past 30 years I have been involved in the Healthcare field in a variety of different roles. From pharmaceutical to medical device and now having brought that experience together to develop custom procedure packs within AVID Medical. My strong clinical experience, which I developed while representing products for both Ethicon and Medtronic, has allowed me to gain a thorough understanding of the clinical needs within the hospital. The experience I have gained over the past 6 years with AVID Medical (now a division of Owens and Minor) has allowed me to become a more global resource by focusing on the supply chain as well as the clinical setting. In this new era of healthcare with extensive cost saving measures being sought after and hospitals constantly merging, it is vital to understand the goals of each institution. Utilizing the resources that are available through Owens and Minor as well as from various partners within the industry, has allowed me to be successful in providing my accounts with a variety of cost savings programs and opportunities. I am positive more change will come. Through preparation and flexibility combined with industry relationships, I will continue to position myself for the future and for continued success.
