About Glenn Luo

Dr. Glenn Luo completed his dental training at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Dentistry and graduated with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS). He was awarded the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP) First Prize for characterisation of oral/dental fibroblast from human embryonic stem cells. After graduation, he joined the public dental service under Ministry of Health Holdings, from which he was seconded to the National Healthcare Group (NHG) and practised community dentistry at Jurong Polyclinic. Subsequently he joined the Singapore Armed Forces as Dental Officer-in-charge of Tengah Air Base Dental Centre and Central Manpower Base, practising advanced general dentistry. He continued on his career in private practice with Advanced Dental Group for 9yrs including serving as Clinical Director of Jurong West Branch for a few years. He currently serves on the Executive Committee as well as the continuing dental education sub-committee in the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore (CGDP). He is a member of the American Dental Association. He is a strong believer of continuing dental education. Every year, he attends numerous overseas and local conferences, seminars and workshops to enhance his clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest developments in dentistry. His scope of work includes restorative dentistry, periodontics and minor oral surgery. He has a special interest in Wisdom tooth removal and surgery.
