About Glenn Mason

Counselling Psychologist with over 20 years experience working in mental health and in the delivery of evidence-based therapies. Over the last 10 years, I have worked in senior clinical leadership positions within the community, public, and private sectors managing the clinical delivery of services, leading waiting list initiatives, service redesign, and quality improvement projects. In these roles I have drawn upon my professional training as a Counselling Psychologist, and been guided by NICE Guidelines, NHS Framework Agreements, National Guidelines and Quality Improvement Plans. These roles have supported me to develop and consolidate skills in organisational development, management, and leadership. My areas of specialist interest are trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, chronic/persistent pain and LGBTQ+ mental health. I have also specialised in supporting creative industries, providing psychological duty of care processes in television production, and welfare services for on-screen contributors. I also work as an expert contributor and commentator to local, national and international media agencies and broadcasters.
