About Glenn McGuyre

Designing purposeful architecture rooted in collaboration, craft, and community impact. Hi, I'm Glenn McGuyre, a Registered Architect and Associate at Alamo Architects. My passion for building began early, as I constructed forts in my neighborhood and later studied architectural drafting in high school. That interest grew into a career focused on creating thoughtful, enduring architecture. I bring a hands-on, detail-oriented approach that ensures clarity, consistency, and quality from concept through completion. Throughout my career, I’ve led a wide range of projects, including K–12 schools, commercial buildings, religious facilities, and historic rehabilitations. Whether preserving a community landmark or working with educators to reimagine learning spaces, I am committed to delivering architecture that reflects the values of those who use it. Outside of work, you’ll often find me on the golf course or racing in autocross events around San Antonio and Austin. Both require focus, strategy, and a love of the challenge. Please feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to talk about how we can collaborate on your next project.
