About Gloria Lee

I’m looking to advance my knowledge and network in Clinical Research & Drug Development, Animal Model Testing and Scientific Writing roles in biotechnology and healthcare, so I can use relevant skills in innovative research, clinical drug testing, product development innovation, project management and cross-functional collaboration. I have leveraged strong scientific planning and budgeting expertise for independently designing and executing research protocols for testing IND candidates in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) animal models of multiple sclerosis as demonstrated by 15 SOPs, saving over research funds and help raising over $1 million in grant funding. I have spearheaded and coordinated 3 research projects from inception to completion including working on multiple IND candidates with NIH collaborators to develop therapeutics for several sclerosis patients. I am a cross-functional collaborator with over 15 years of scientific communication and research experience contributing to the therapeutic antibody discovery projects to develop a pharmacological platform enabling antibody affinity determination on cell surface receptors, as evidenced by successfully performing, analyzing and communicating the results of 100 experiments involving the testing of investigational new drugs. Ability to work with key stakeholders, overseeing complex biomedical experiments and mentoring scientists, while collaborating with over 10 Clinicians and NIH researchers to advance novel compounds into phase I clinical trials. I also have research and development experience with expertise in summarizing complex research findings, writing grant proposals and manuscripts, and presenting results at local and national group meetings with over 30 presentations, posters, and publications.
