Started in the apparel business working as a fit model & receptionist for Byer California in San Francisco. At Byer, was promoted to Trims Purchasing Agent, moved to Showroom Sales Rep in Dallas & San Francisco showrooms. Moved to Orlando Florida to be w/ my fiance and worked retail in the Jacobson's couture salon. After two years in Florida & discovering we left our combined hearts in San Francisco - we moved back to the SF Bay Area. Re-entered the garment business as an Independent Sales Rep covering SF and Pacific Northwest, for various US companies, selling ribbons & novelties, zippers, laces and fabric, to wholesale apparel manufacturers. In 1992 discovered my love of buttons & closures when I took on the Tiger Button Collection. Tiger has continued to hold my excited interest with it's rapid capacity to grow and change with the times. It's no small task to continuously create product that is fresh and relevant and always on the leading edge, since 1968.
