About Glory Omomase

I’m a dedicated international development practitioner with a strong focus on evidence-based programming, social justice, and inclusive change. With a Master’s in International Development Practice, I’ve developed expertise in policy analysis, gender and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research, project management, and global development strategies. Most recently, I worked as a researcher with Misean Cara’s Learning and Development team, where I conducted impact assessments, analysed grant utilisation, reviewed proposals and reports, and gathered high-impact success stories to inform future programming and learning. Prior to that, I supported youth-centred reproductive health initiatives as a Programme Support Lead with The Challenge Initiative. I thrive at the intersection of research, learning, and practical action—translating data and stories into insights that drive better development outcomes. My interests lie particularly in gender equity, community health, and locally led development approaches. With a background in Communications (BSc.), I also bring strong written and verbal communication skills, developed through academic research, programme support roles, and collaborative work with diverse stakeholders. I’ve written reports, presentations, and success stories tailored for internal learning and external audiences. I'm confident in synthesising complex information into clear, accessible formats—whether through reports, slide decks, or storytelling. In team settings, I communicate with clarity and empathy, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and international partners. I’m also experienced in facilitating discussions and contributing to learning events that promote reflection, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning.
