The cost of trust in property transactions is simply too high in many developing markets. Ethical and honest professionals and businesses struggle to cut through the noise. And for consumers, extensive due diligence doesn't guarantee hazard-free transactions. I believe we can change this, creating property markets that foster transparency, efficiency, and sustainable development. My broader research interest is in applied institutional and innovation economics in relation to property markets and urban homelessness. A bit about me 1. I am a Property Economist and started my property career in property and urban development consulting over a decade ago. I have consulted on many high-profile industry projects, including a market feasibility study for a affordable housing project for the Ministry of Works and Housing (Ghana), the Ghana National Infrastructure Plan (2018-2045) for the National Development Planning Commission, and the Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA): Guideline for Cities in Africa for the African Development Bank, the Africa Housing Finance Yearbooks for Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa, and investment and market feasibilities for property developers. I am a Property Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Australia's premium University. I am a passionate and experienced teacher who taught 500+ undergraduate and postgraduate students on real estate/housing-related subjects across Ghana and Australia.
