About Gopal Agarwal

I'm an ISB MBA in finance with 15 years in IR and business development primarily in the financial services sector. I am a data-driven and results-oriented professional who excels in business development, particularly in the investor relations and institutional partnerships. I'm a Computer Science Engineer from Anna University. As the Director of Capital Markets at Drip Capital, I lead the debt fundraising and investor relations for some debt verticals in the company. I managed $100M+ in private debt and closed transactions in excess of $50 million across investors in the US, Asia, and Europe, onboarded several large institutional investors with a combined AUM of $5 billion, and built key relationships in the private credit industry. For context, Drip is a Sequoia, Accel and YC backed fintech that provides working capital solutions to suppliers and buyers in emerging and developed markets. As one of the early employees at Drip, I also helped create the Account Management function in 2018. I contributed to the originations and revenue growth of the company, with a ~150% increase, and a very high transaction activity rate across the customer base. I am passionate about leveraging technology and data to create innovative and scalable financial products that empower businesses and drive economic development. I'm passionate about investor relations, fundraising and building key institutional partnerships for companies and have constantly thrived in such roles in the past.
