About Gopi Suresh Oggu

With over ten years of experience in microfluidics and nanotechnology, I am a Lead Scientist & Consultant at Chitolytic Inc, Toronto, Atal Incubation Centre, Popvax Private Ltd - CCMB, where I design and develop microfluidic devices for mRNA-vaccine platform. My core competencies include assay development, IVD, lipid/biopolymer nanoparticle synthesis and conjugation, droplet/paper microfluidics, LFA, cell encapsulation, and immunoassays. My mission is to apply my multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in nanotechnology, molecular biology, biotechnology, and engineering to address the unmet needs and challenges in diagnostic industry and therapeutics. I have successfully led and collaborated on multiple projects involving rapid and low-cost microfluidic-based on-chip assays, novel functionalization and surface modification of nanoparticles, and pilot-scale production of mRNA-LNP process under GLP conditions. I am also passionate about mentoring students, presenting at international conferences, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
