Consultant delivering air quality, climate change and environmental management advice at DustScanAQ. Actively researching methods to improve PM10 and PM2.5 emission management, using low cost sensors, modelling and source apportionment methods.Environmental consultancy lead for Kiwa Gastec UK - April 2018 - June 2019. This was an internally funded start-up which was discontinued when it failed to reach its revenue target.Air Quality Lead for HS2 Ltd, 2013 to 2016. Associate Director at CH2M HILL from March 2013 to March 2018. Born on a farm in Zimbabwe, educated in England and Scotland, I am a commercial environmental consultant. I have a very wide range of interests in the natural and human sciences and arts and am from a family with a long history of scientific endeavour (Petrus Van Musschenbroek, who was the inventor of the Leiden Jar; Tony Allison proved natural selection took place in humans by showing the link between the the resistance to malaria of carriers of the gene for sickle cell anaemia). My objectives are to give clear effective advice, to solve environmental problems where I am able, and to reduce the negative impact of human activities on the environment. I have a specialism in air quality, with broad experience in industrial and transport related environmental and consenting activities.
