About Gordon Gibson

As a staff editor at the Journal of Business and Technology Law, I contribute to the publication of high-quality articles on various legal topics related to business and technology. I also support the editorial board in reviewing, editing, and formatting the submissions from authors. I am currently pursuing a JD degree with a concentration in business law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in legal research, analysis, and writing. I have a bachelor's degree in sociology,(while minoring in sports business, and legal studies) from Washington University in St. Louis, where I developed a strong interest in the intersection of law, sports, and society. I have over a year of work experience as an administration and operations intern at Capital Hoops LLC, a sports media company, where I assisted in various aspects of event planning, marketing, and compliance. I also completed a ten week legal internship at the Neighborhood Legal Services Program, where I worked with the Economic Security Unit to provide legal assistance to low-income clients. My core competencies include communication, teamwork, legal writing, legal research, and problem-solving. I am passionate about pursuing a career in business law, especially in the sports industry, where I can apply my skills and expertise to help clients achieve their goals and protect their rights.
