Background
About Gordon Ngubane
I am an ESL/ELA teacher currently based in China. Recently, I completed my B.Ed. Hons degree at the University of Johannesburg and graduated summa cum laude. My major was curriculum studies. I am currently pursuing M.Ed in Literacy education at Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA. I have worked as a tutor and academic mentor at the University of Johannesburg for three years (2013-2015). During this period, my role was to teach English to Law, Politics, and Education first-year students. Besides, I was tutoring philosophy to B.Ed students. This experience triggered an interest in learning theories and subsequently ignited the desire to pursue a Ph.D. in Education. After completing my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in 2015, I worked as a full-time high school teacher for two years (2016-2018). At the moment, I am working as an ESL and IELTS teacher in China.
