April 2019, I was appointed by the board of county commissioners as the county’s Fire Chief. I began my career on October 07, 1986 with the Florida Department of Corrections.I assumed a position of Deputy Sheriff in 1988, working my way through the ranks until being elected to the position of Chief of Police for the City of Starke, Florida in 2001, and re-elected in 2005.
