As a Scientific Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in biotech and pharmaceutical research, I specialize in developing automation-first, data-centric solutions that connect experimental science with scalable software infrastructure. I’m passionate about building tools that enhance the reproducibility, traceability, and efficiency of life sciences R&D. At Recursion (formerly Exscientia), I’ve led the design and implementation of scientific software systems including chemical registration platforms, reagent standardization tools, and XML-based ingestion pipelines for CRO data. These tools streamline lab operations and simplify complex workflows in medicinal chemistry and compound management, built in close collaboration with wet-lab scientists and research teams. My technical foundation includes advanced Python development, cheminformatics with RDKit, relational databases like PostgreSQL, containerized environments with Docker, and full-stack development using Django and JavaScript frameworks (Vue and React).
