About Gourav Gera

I’m a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in the ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) space, mainly working on Openlink Endur across commodities like Power, Gas (including LNG). I have a good understanding of Endur’s data model and how different tables connect. This helps me in writing effective SQL queries to extract and analyze the data needed by business or downstream systems. In my current role, I’ve worked on building and improving data integration with systems like Equias and ICE for regulatory reporting and confirmation matching. I’ve also been involved in streaming Endur data into a central data platform using Kafka, both through auto-streaming (Ops service) and trigger-based streaming (using Sim Results and UDSR). I've helped design logic and schema for these extractions. One of the key areas I’ve worked on is the migration from a legacy system (Aligne) to Endur. I helped in analyzing and mapping data between systems, defining migration requirements, and making sure the data is correct through testing and reconciliation—especially checking that the PnL numbers match. I’ve been part of projects that involve understanding EOD processes and reviewing reports like PnL Detail, MtM, PnL Explained, and Exposure reports. I also have working knowledge of modules like Market Manager, Trading Manager, Reference Manager, Services Manager, and Settlement Desktop. I enjoy working closely with both business and technical teams, and try to always bring a clear and collaborative approach to solving problems.
