About Gowri Kumar

Currently I am working as an Academic Advisor at Abu Dhabi University, Abu Dhabi. In my current role as an Advisor, I provide the students with the guidance they seek in order for them to achieve their personal and academic goals, in addition I also teach the course “University Study Skills” to first year students in order to assist them with the transition from High School to University. I am adept at interacting with students from diverse, cultural, economic and academic backgrounds. Good testimonies to my work commitment are the appreciation from students, excellent appraisal from my Supervisor and my promotion from the role of teaching assistant to Academic advisor in Abu Dhabi University. Additionally, I also have two years of teaching experience in Business Management for freshmen and sophomores at Walter Sisulu University, South Africa.
