About Grace Beaman

Hi! My name is Grace! I am the Tourism and Events Coordinator for Clearview Township. I graduated from Brock University's Recreation and Leisure Studies Program. In this degree, I focused my studies on the Community Recreation stream and completed a minoring in Indigenous Studies. I am passionate and dedicated to the recreation and leisure industry. My love for the field came from the hundreds of hours spent at my local arena through my participation, volunteering in youth sports, and eventually where I started working. For the past 15 years, I have volunteered and worked in the industry in some way shape, or form. These experiences range from youth sports to planning in not-for-profits, youth summer camps, event planning, and parks and facilities. These positions have allowed me to grow my skills in various ways such as leadership, teamwork, customer service, and creative problem-solving that make me a well-rounded individual.
