About Grace Brasel

Grace Brasel, OD, FAAO is a clinical assistant professor at Indiana University School of Optometry working in the pediatric/binocular vision and primary care services at the Atwater Eye Care Center and Indianapolis Eye Care Center. Dr. Brasel completed her undergraduate studies at Augustana College and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2021. She then completed her residency in pediatric optometry with an area of emphasis in vision therapy and rehabilitation and brain injury in 2022 at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Her special interests include strabismic and non-strabismic binocular vision disorders, vision therapy, amblyopia, aniseikonia, and working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dr. Brasel is the director of aniseikonia clinic at the Atwater Eye Care Center and is a clinical director for Opening Eyes with the Special Olympics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (College of Optometrists in Vision Development).
