About Grace Brigham

Grace Brigham is a Sales Engineer located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally from Washington, D.C, she graduated magna cum laude from St. Olaf College in 2020 with a degree in music composition. She also has several years of experience as a personal injury/mass tort paralegal and as a video editor. Additionally, Grace is an award-winning composer, soprano, and violinist. Her work is gaining increasing attention, with premieres by Cantus, St. Martin's Voices at St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Washington National Cathedral Choir, the Western ACDA SSAA Honor Choir, ensembles at St. Olaf College, the Capital Fringe Festival, and more. She was recently named a winner of the HerVoice Emerging Composers Competition. Additionally, her piece "Discoveries" was named the winner of the Cantus Young & Emerging Composer Competition, and was described as follows:"Through daring harmony, exquisite text-painting and remarkable sensitivity, “Discoveries” was a celebration of the accomplishments of female scientists, a recognition of their marginalization and a strong call to action." Grace has received commissions from Women's Voices Chorus, the Washington National Cathedral, St. George Children's Choir, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Assumption University, Herriman High School Vivace, Maple Mountain High School, and the Utah Chamber Artists.
