About Grace Brown

I am Dr. Grace, a Maori data scientist who has a background working with longitudinal data sets. I am the director of Think Analytic Ltd, which is a research consultancy that engages in projects focused on supporting the uptake of data within communities and using data to change the narratives of indigeous and minority populations. I am the co-founder of Tautoko Tech, which is a new medical device startup company that is dedicated to providing gold standard of care for diabetics through easy to use technology. My main roles within this startup-up is lead regulatory and QMS for the devices, as well as marketing and growth management of the company. I am a strong advocate for supporting mahi that positively utilises data to benefit communities to enhance mana motuhake as well as encourage the uptake of STEM amongst indigenous and underrepresented groups.
