About Grace C.

I am a Data Solutions Manager at Partners for Rural Impact, a social nonprofit that provides data-driven grant programs to schools that serve low-income and marginalized rural communities. With over 10 years of experience in data science, analytics, database and human management, and data engineering, I help our communities maximize the information potential of their data and enable them to achieve their educational goals and mission.I have a Ph.D. in Economic and Political Sociology, and a personal and professional passion for addressing social inequalities, poverty, welfare, and financial market regulation. I have successfully led and managed multiple data projects, from designing and implementing data infrastructures and systems, to conducting and presenting complex analyses of various data types, to creating and facilitating innovative and humane operational improvements. I believe in working collaboratively and inclusively with diverse stakeholders and teams, and in promoting equitable and enjoyable work practices. I also love to travel, photograph, and live with my adorable and useless Greyhound and cats.
