With 15 years of experience in special education, I am passionate about supporting diverse learners in academically rigorous environments. Holding dual Master’s degrees in Childhood General and Special Education, I have served as a classroom teacher in Math, Literacy, and Life Science, as well as an Learning Specialist working with students from 5th through 8th grade. As an experienced learning specialist and educational leader, I have a deep understanding of adolescent development and the unique needs of students with learning differences. My expertise includes implementing accommodations, coaching executive function skills, designing academic interventions, and integrating assistive technology to empower students. I excel in case management, facilitating collaboration among educators, families, and external providers to ensure comprehensive, student-centered support. I thrive in team-centered environments where strong relationships and thoughtful coordination drive student success.
