About Grace Dibben

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit (SPHSU). I have a PhD in Medical Studies from the University of Exeter and an MSc in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation from the University of Chester. My doctoral research focused on investigating the impact of cardiac rehabilitation on the physical activity levels of heart failure patients, during which I developed improved methods for estimating physical activity intensity using accelerometers. My primary research interests encompass exercise-based rehabilitation, device-based measurement of physical activity in clinical populations, and advancing research methodology. Proficient in systematic review and meta-analysis methods, I also possess strong skills in secondary data analysis and quantitative methods. Beyond my research acumen, I excel in project management, and have demonstrated leadership through successful supervision and mentoring of postgraduate students.
