About Grace Douglass

Passionate educator with a Master’s in Teaching and a Bachelor’s in Strategic and Corporate Communication. With a background in both education and business, I am able to leverage my organizational, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills to design meaningful learning opportunities and create a structured classroom environment that promotes student growth and success. My priority as a teacher is to continually reflect upon and adapt my teaching practices, while assessing my students’ understanding of content, in order to equip students with the skills necessary to attain their individual learning goals. The combination of my professional experiences and educational background allows me to be a more intentional teacher who can effectively manage a classroom in order to engage students at their highest level. I recognize my students’ learning needs quickly and differentiate my teaching and instructional approaches as necessary in order to ensure their success within the classroom. I am not only invested in my students’ academic success and personal growth but in their overall wellbeing.
